Whats Included:

• 1.5 hour load in and set up

  Your team can arrive 1.5 hours before the event start time to get everything in place so your event is ready to begin seamlessly at the scheduled time.

• .5 hour break down and load out

  After the event concludes, we kindly ask that all materials be packed up and removed from the premises within 30 minutes. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition between events.

• Exclusive access to the Skate Lounge

  You and your guests will receive VIP treatment and exclusive access to our premier facilities. We hope this will provide you with a memorable and enjoyable experience. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every detail is handled with the utmost professionalism and care.

• Up to 50 participants

  Your exclusive event can accommodate up to 50 guests. This intimate setting provides the perfect atmosphere to host your special occasion in an elegant, sophisticated manner. With ample room for mingling and celebrating, our venue offers a refined backdrop for you and your select group of VIPs. Allow us to make your private affair a memorable one.

• Live DJ (You can submit song ideas/suggestions prior to event via email or Spotify list)

  Our professional DJ will spin an eclectic mix of music that is sure to keep the skaters and spectators moving all night. Prior to the event, you are welcome to share your song suggestions via email or Spotify playlist so we can curate a setlist tailored to your tastes. With our extensive music library and knack for reading the room, our DJ will create an unforgettable soundtrack for your private event.

• Staff to facilitate all of the auxiliary functions around event.

  To ensure the event runs smoothly, our professional staff will handle all of the necessary details and logistics surrounding the occasion.

• 4 six foot skirted tables for food, drink and or other.

  We offer four (4) six foot skirted tables that can be used to elegantly display food, beverages, decorations, or anything else you may need for your event. The skirting on our tables provides a polished, upscale look. Let us provide you with the perfect tables to showcase your cuisine, refreshments, floral arrangements, or other items in sophisticated style.

• 7 minute “How not to die” skate lesson

  This succinct lesson distills years of experience into key tips and tricks for mastering the basics. You and your guest will gain the knowledge needed to have fun in no time. Say goodbye to fear and hesitation - just 7 minutes is all it takes to skate safely with poise.

• 25 Skate Rentals (if skate rental package is requested)

  For your convenience, we provide skate rentals option with each Detroit Skate Lounge experience booked. Our professional staff will ensure your guest receive properly fitted skates to maximize your comfort and enjoyment.

• Drink cooler usage

  For optimal use of our drink coolers, we recommend simply adding ice. The coolers are designed to maintain beverage temperature when filled with ice alone.

• Small refrigerator access

  This compact refrigerator provides ideal storage conditions for delicate desserts and other bite-sized treats. The precision temperature control and air circulation maintain the ideal environment to preserve freshness and quality.

What You Can Do:

• Bring in food of any kind

  Our venue allows guests to bring their own food, within reason. We simply request that any items brought in are in compliance with our policies and help ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

• You can use can burners

  When it comes to heating food, can burners provide an efficient and convenient option. Can burners are a compact, lightweight choice and safer than other forms.

• Provide beverages

  Refreshments and beverages to suit any taste or occasion. For your event, you can provide an assortment of drinks.

• Can have more guest (at an additional cost per guest)

  Additional guests are welcome! For parties larger than 50 people, an additional fee per person will apply. Please contact us to learn more about our group rates. We will be happy to accommodate your larger party and make the event a memorable one.

• Theme your event, such as decade dress and music, movie or tv character themes, etc.

  Bring your event to life with creative themes that get guests excited. Invite them to dress up in styles from a favorite decade, or as their favorite movie or TV characters. Things To Remember:

• Please use low-tack tape, to adhere decorations, No nails, staples, duck tape or glue

  We kindly request that only low-tack tape be used to put up decorations. Please refrain from using nails, staples, duct tape or glue as they can damage the walls.

• Banners on the skate floor back wall must stop 58 inches above the floor, no streamers

  To ensure safety and visibility, we kindly request that all banners hung on the back wall of the skate floor stop at a height of 58 inches above the floor surface. We also ask that no streamers be used, as they could present tripping hazards.

• All those entering must be 21 years or older, sign the waiver skating or not skating.

  For the safety of all our guests, please be aware that you must be at least 21 years old to enter. Whether you plan on skating or not, we kindly ask that you review and sign our liability waiver before proceeding. We want to make sure all our valued patrons have a fun and safe experience.

• Everyone is not required to skate to participate

  Participation in our roller skating experience is open to all those 21 and older, regardless of skating ability. Roller skating is encouraged but not mandatory. We welcome both skaters and spectators alike and aim to provide an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Extras:

• Skate Rental: $7 per person (If not included in cost, paid by your event goers or paid by you)

  Take the hassle out of coordinating skate rentals for your guests. We'll handle it for you for just $7 per person. Simply let us know if you'd like skate rental included with the event package or if you prefer your guests pay for their own rentals when they arrive. We're happy to accommodate whichever works best for your event. With our seamless skate rental service, your guests can lace up their skates and hit the floor with ease.
