Roller Skate Detroit is the premier adult roller skate entertainment. We are currently seeking a Skate Circle Leader to conduct one-hour and two-hour public/private events at our new facility.
As a company on a mission to elevate the roller skating experience to full immersion, we are seeking a Skate Circle Leader to help us champion products and processes that will do just that. The Skate Circle Leader is accountable for creating, leading, driving, and innovating skate steps that are challenging for advance skaters but fun and engaging for everyone from beginner and up. This is a skate leadership role focused on bringing to life the vision and strategy to make Roller Skate Detroit the foremost destination of roller skating entertainment. As the Skate Circle Leader, you are responsible for delivering, collaborating with and curating elevated skate dance immersion, that speak to both our brand and customer.
Role + Responsibilites
Create unique skate stepping routines
Engage all skate levels, by challenging advance skaters while keeping beginner skaters growing and having fun.
Know traditional Detroit skate style stepping
Introduce new style stepping (G-Slide, etc)
Knowledge/Skills + Abilities
Must be 18+
Average or above skating skill.
Own skates.
Clear verbal communication skills.
Love training and interacting with skaters of all levels.
Legally can work in the US.
Reliable transportation.
Be committed to the job and professional in dealing with clients.
Creative and charismatic
Understanding and knowledge line dance or familiar with stepping a plus.
